Hi everyone,

I am pretty new to this site, but there is one thing on the site and the forum annoying me a bit. Maybe there is already a feature like the one I am suggestion in this topic and I am just to stupid to see it. But let me explain what annoys me first :-)

Whenever I visit the site there is this small element (window if you want) on the left site, telling me what new articles are there to read.
Same goes for the forum with recent topics on the right side.
The thing is that there are just so much articles and topics featured, but what if I had no chance to visit the site earlier? What if the community grows even bigger and there are much more things to read every single day? I simply have no chance to stay up to date, although the articles and topics not featured in these windows anymore might not be too old at all.

I do get that these windows have to stay small. That's an integral element of the whole concept of this site and forum. Furthermore it is necessary, so we are not flooded by the (potential) amount of new articles and topics.

So what is suggest is the following: Why not add a small element (icon) right next to the header of these windows that links you to a structured site in the back of the site (so you don't kill the design-concept), where you could access a list of all articles and topics of this site or forum that can be viewed and if possible even sorted by date, comments, rating etc.
Like a small database of the very beeing of this site: It's content. That would also allow for a better search for older but good rated articles and topics. I hope you get my point and see the potential.

This very feature could also be implented for news, posts, status updates and what else if you see a need for it, but they outdate themselves too fast if you ask me.
So, that's what I'd suggest and I really hope I did not just not see this very feature and wasted my time on this post.

Hey there mate, thank you for your suggestions.

In one way, your suggestion is already in the process of being thought through. I don't like the accessibility of the homepage either and am going to be working on getting a new one fixed up as soon as possible. I opened up the donations feature the other day to help me save money, and currently have a little saved up from the community and get paid next week, so I'm hoping I can use that money and some personal cash to get a brand new homepage coded with much more accessibility and stuff.

In another way, your suggestion is already here. If you check the top navigation bar, you will see the 'Gaming' and 'Entertainment' tabs. If you click these, you can see the 'latest news', 'latest reviews' and so on, showing you the top five reviews, news or movies and music in the entertainment. If you go there you can also see 'See all...' on each of those tabs. If you click that, it will take you to a new page where you can easily view all the articles in an archive!

These pages are going to be worked on, but for now that's all we have. I'm always looking to make the site bigger and better, and accessibility is always on my mind, but for now I think this is as good as we can get, I'll be working over the coming weeks and months to make it better for us, definitely.

Yeah, and it just shows your thoughts reflect mine, too.. I thought the homepage was a little inaccessible, definitely. I'll do what I can to change it around! Thanks mate, hope you enjoy the site!
