The third edition of ET MSME Awards 2022, which builds on its previous incarnation as ET Rise MSME Top Rankings, will serve as a platform to celebrate and recognize India’s top micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) for their exceptional achievement in business performance and contributions to India’s socio-economic growth.

Around 63 million micro, small, and medium-sized firms (MSMEs) in India generate more than 30 percent of the country’s gross domestic product and almost one-third of its industrial output. After agriculture, the MSME sector is the second-largest source of employment in the country.

The ET MSME Awards 2022 will be presented during a big MSME conference as an on-site ceremony. The award ceremony and the MSME conference will serve as a venue for industry experts, policymakers, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem to create strategies and solutions to increase the global competitiveness of MSMEs and strengthen the sector.
