This medication may occasionally lead to addiction, despite the fact that it benefits many people. If you suffer from a substance use disorder( such as drug or alcohol addiction), this risk may be higher. Don’t take it more frequently, use it longer than recommended, or increase your dose. When instructed to do so, properly stop the medication.

Effects on the side

If you experience any extremely severe side effects, such as shortness of breath, chest/ jaw/ left arm pain, fainting, severe headache, fast/ pounding/ irregular heartbeat, seizures, ankle/ feet swelling, extreme tiredness, blurred vision, weakness on one side of the body, trouble speaking, or confusion, seek medical attention right away.
Rarely does this medication result in serotonin syndrome or toxicity, which is a very serious condition. Inform your doctor or pharmacist of all the medications you take( see Drug Interactions section) as the risk increases if you also take other medications that raise serotonin. If you experience any of the following symptoms: a rapid heartbeat, hallucinations, loss of coordination, extreme dizziness, severe nausea/ vomiting/ diarrhea, twitching muscles, an unexplained fever, or unusual agitation/ restlessness, seek medical attention right away.
Rarely does this medication cause a very severe allergic reaction. However, if you experience any signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as rash, itching/ swelling( especially of the face, tongue, or throat), severe vertigo, and trouble breathing, seek medical attention right away.
