Pattie Mallette Net Worth:
How much is Pattie Mallette Net worth?
Pattie Mallette is a Canadian novelist with a ten million dollar net worth. She is arguably most recognized for being Justin Bieber’s mum. She was his manager at the beginning of his musical career.
Born on April 2, 1975, in Stratford, Ontario, Canada, to Diane and Michael Mallette, Pattie Mallette had an extremely turbulent, violent, and abusive upbringing. Her father abandoned the family when she was two years old, and her elder sister was tragically slain at the age of five while crossing the street to the babysitter’s house. Beginning at age three, she was sexually molested by a male babysitter, one of her grandfather’s acquaintances, and neighborhood children.
Early Adulthood and Adolescence
Malette had a keen interest in acting and singing as early as the age of nine. Local children’s television programs “Romper Room” and “Big Top Talent” featured her. She was a great singer and actress who began her professional theatrical career in her early teens. She was cast in two shows at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, an annual event that would attract half a million visitors to the town. In addition to seven years of dancing training, she studied theater and chorus throughout middle and high school.
Mallette received several accolades and awards for her acting and singing abilities, and she was even signed with a Toronto-based agent. However, auditions required her parents to drive her almost two hours each way to Toronto every weekend, something they were unable to do owing to their busy occupations.
As Mallette’s personal life spiraled out of control, so did her budding acting career. Mallette was heartbroken since it felt her acting career ambitions were slipping away. The aforementioned sexual assault lasted until she was 14 years old, after which she was victimized by a date at age 15. She ultimately resorted to drug selling and theft to maintain herself. She was suspended for setting fire to a school restroom when she was 14 years old.
Pattie began a relationship with Jeremy Bieber at the age of 15. They were together for two years prior to a brief separation. Mallette attempted suicide at the age of 17 by throwing herself in front of a truck. This resulted in her being taken to a psychiatric facility, where she became a devoted born-again Christian, a conviction she maintains to this day. Six months after rekindling her romance with Jeremy Bieber following her release from the hospital, she became pregnant.
Prior to her 19th birthday, she gave birth to her son Justin Bieber on March 1, 1994, in Ontario London. After the birth of their son, Justin, Jeremy and Pattie continued a relationship for a brief period of time before breaking up. She completed high school and attended college on a scholarship while her parents assisted her in raising him.
By age four, Justin Bieber had taught himself to play the drums, and by age six, he had also mastered the piano, guitar, and trumpet. Pattie entered him in the 2007 Stratford Star talent event, where he sang “So Sick” by Ne-Yo. Mallette uploaded a video on YouTube for their family and friends to witness after he placed second in the tournament. As her son’s internet popularity increased, she began to upload YouTube footage of subsequent performances. Scooter Braun, a record executive, found Bieber after unintentionally clicking on one of his YouTube videos. Braun, impressed by Bieber’s performance, hunted him down and persuaded Mallette to bring him to Atlanta to record demo recordings. After only one week in Atlanta, Bieber was already performing for Usher. Shortly thereafter, he was signed to both Raymond Braun Media Group and Island Records.
Pattie became Justin’s manager after moving to Atlanta with Justin and Pattie. By 2008, Braun had assumed the majority of management functions. Today, Justin Bieber is one of the most popular and well-compensated musicians in history.
In 2012, Pattie released the best-selling biography “Nowhere but Up” about her life. In its first week on sale, it reached No. 17 on the New York Times Bestsellers List.
Pattie spends time in both Los Angeles and Canada. After having a tumultuous and practically nonexistent connection with Justin for many years owing to the numerous controversies and legal issues he has had during his short star career, she now frequently attends his concerts.
